## Interpreting the price feed

- `snapshotDate` is the date the listed rates were manually checked. These rates are a dated snapshot, not live provider quotes.
- `currency` is USD and `unit` is GPU-hour. Listed rates are before tax; storage and egress are excluded.
- `rateUsdPerGpuHour` is a number for a listed on-demand rate. A `null` value with `pricingType` set to `live_market` means the provider's live marketplace should be checked; it does not mean free or unavailable.
- Each rate includes its provider's `sourceUrl`. Confirm current availability and pricing on that source before making a purchase decision.
- `lowestListedRateUsdPerGpuHour` compares fixed listed rates only; live marketplace offers are not included in that comparison.

## Methodology

Prices are manually read from provider pricing pages and normalized per GPU-hour. Reserved, spot, and committed-term rates are excluded unless specifically labelled. The page explains provider-specific qualifications and affiliate disclosure.
